Members of the Jury for Selecting Compositions for the Final Competition Evening

This year's competition for compositions for the Final Competition Evening, scheduled for July 2, 2023, attracted 166 authors who submitted their songs to be performed for the first time at Prokurative.

The six-member jury was responsible for selecting the compositions. They listened to all the songs and evaluated them based on their personal experience while considering the overall quality of the music. The jury chose the best songs based on their artistic value.

The evaluation process occurred in two rounds. In the first round, each jury member independently listened to and evaluated the submitted compositions. By summing up the individual ratings, the commission selected about forty songs. In the second round, the jury chose the 22 best songs that the Split audience will enjoy in the Final Competition Evening of the Split Festival 2023.

The six-member jury consisted of Damir Dado Marušić and Remo Cartagine, music producers; Dado Topić and Miron Hauser, musicians; Ninoslav Zorica, Radio Split's music editor, and Stevo Stivi Vučković, the artistic director of the festival.
